Troubleshooting

Map Does Not Show Markers

Check:

• At least one market is published.
• Latitude and longitude are present and numeric.
• REST endpoint returns data.
• WPML language shortcode matches available translated records.
• Browser console has no JavaScript errors.

Gray or Blank Map Tiles

Check:

• Farmers Markets > Settings > Map Style Preset.
• Custom Tile URL contains valid Leaflet placeholders such as {z}, {x}, and {y}.
• Site CSP/security settings allow tile host requests.

Spanish Map Is Empty

Check:

• WPML is active.
• Spanish is enabled.
• Spanish market translations exist and are published.
• The shortcode uses lang="es".
• Taxonomy translations are configured where needed.

CSV Import Skips Rows

Download the import log. Common causes:

• Missing market name.
• Invalid coordinates.
• Invalid email or URL.
• Duplicate row by selected match key.
• Preview expired before import.

WPML Draft Tool Creates Nothing

The tool may correctly find no missing Spanish drafts. Review the source language, total market count, and missing Spanish count on the WPML Tools screen.
