CSV Import and Export

CSV tools live under Farmers Markets > CSV Import.

Supported Workflow

1. Upload a CSV.
2. Preview rows and columns.
3. Map CSV columns to plugin fields.
4. Run a dry run first.
5. Review the import log.
6. Run the real import.
7. Use rollback if needed.

Import Modes

• Create new and update matching markets.
• Create only and skip matching markets.
• Replace all existing markets, then import.

Matching

Imports can match existing markets by:

• Market title
• Street address
• External ID

External ID is preferred for repeatable imports when available.

Canonical Headers

market_name,external_id,description,address,city,zip,lat,lng,days_open,hours,season_start,season_end,website,phone,email,region,delivery,vendor_types,payment_types,season,offers_csa,csa_signup_url,csa_pickup_location,csa_pickup_days,csa_share_types,csa_price_range,csa_accepts_snap,csa_delivery,csa_waitlist

The importer also recognizes common aliases such as name, title, latitude, longitude, features, and payment.

Delivery and Payment Types

• Delivery uses the internal ofml_feature taxonomy for continuity.
• Payment Types Accepted is the public filter for SNAP/EBT, WIC, cards, Double Up Food Bucks, and related payment/benefit-style terms.
• Do not use old standalone benefits fields.

Export

Export Markets CSV downloads current non-trash markets using importer-compatible columns and includes WPML language columns.
