Goal

Find a better final name and visual identity before the first public release.

Output

  • Name candidates.
  • Logo direction.
  • App icon direction.
  • README/wiki/release branding plan.

Library Manager remains the working name until this is decided.

Branding update: selected tagline is "Look to the books". Repo docs and wiki now record this alongside Pagemaster as the leading product name candidate.

Logo option notes added in docs/branding.md:

  1. Pagemaster Mark: a crisp P built from a book spine and turning page.
  2. Look To The Books: open book with an upward sightline/page marker.
  3. Catalog Compass: book/card-catalog plus navigation point.
  4. Shelf Signal: clean shelves with one highlighted spine.
  5. Lantern Book: book as a simple light source.

Recommended first exploration: Pagemaster Mark as the primary app icon, borrowing the upward-looking gesture from Look To The Books for larger brand treatments.
